The inaugural season of the UK League Championship will culminate in a Grand Final at Twickenham Stadium! Come by for a day of League of Legends fun at the biggest LoL esports event in the UK this year.

Our UKLC Summer Finals 2019 will take place in an indoor arena at the iconic rugby venue. Doors will open at 1pm, with activities planned throughout the afternoon, before Fnatic Rising and Excel UK, the two best League of Legends teams in the UK and Ireland, will face off in a best-of-5 to crown our 2019 Summer Split champions.

Here’s all you need to know about the event. We’ll be updating this page with more information as the big day draws closer, so keep an eye out!

The Plan

When you enter, there will be the opportunity to check out a ton of booths in the Rose Suite, where there will be the opportunity to try out a bunch of activities and maybe pick up some sweet merch! Then, doors will open for the Live Room, where the Best-of-5 Grand Finals will kick off at 3pm.

Travel

By Car

From the M25: Exit at J12 onto M3. This becomes the A316, and Twickenham Stadium is off the Whitton Road roundabout next to the Lexus/Toyota car dealership.
From London: Turn right off the A316 at Whitton Road roundabout. Please do leave additional time if you are arriving at the stadium during peak travel hours, as the A316 can be busy during this time.

Parking: Use the West Car Park via Gate D on Rugby Road, free of charge.

Twickenham Rail Station: 10 min walk (Last train is at 00:03)
Whitton Rail Station: 10 min walk (Last train is at 23:28)
St. Margaret’s Rail Station: 10 min walk (Last train is at 23:34)
Richmond Rail & Tube: 8 min train (Last train is at 00:07)

Can I still buy a ticket?
Tickets for the event are now sold out. If you’re still on our waiting list or haven’t managed to grab a ticket, stay tuned: there will still be an opportunity to win tickets through our event partners.

Which entrance should I use?
The Live Room Entrance, located here.

What games are being played?
The Best-of-5 Finals of the UKLC Summer Split 2019. Teams will be updated once they are decided (check our standings here!)

What’s on the line?
The title of UKLC Summer Split Champion. Both teams have already qualified for EU Masters: the runner-up will go to the Play-In Stage, while the winner will enter directly at the Group Stage.

What time do doors open?
Doors to the venue will open to the public at 13:00.

When do the games start?
Matches will start at 15:00!

Will there be other things to do once I get there?
Yes! There will be a selection of booths in the Rose Suite, which will be on your right as you enter. These will include activities offered by LVP, UKLC teams, and our sponsoring partners!

What support will be offered for cosplayers?
At this event, cosplayers are asked to ensure they are able to manage themselves. We encourage you to ensure that you are able to move around in a potentially crowded area unhindered and are able to comfortably sit in your seat, without impairing those around you. There are no storage facilities or changing facilities available on site.

Will there be merchandise on sale?
Unfortunately not this time around, although there will be plenty of stuff to do and prizes to win in the Rose Suite!

Can I take photos/videos at the event?
Absolutely and we encourage it! There will be photo opportunities set up around the event and we encourage you to get in on the action and share your photos online. Use the hashtag #UKLC for a chance to be featured on our official platforms!

Will there be food and drink on sale at the event?
Yes, Twickenham will have a bar open for your food and drink needs.

Is reentry available?
Yes, you will have a wristband granting you access throughout the event.

Can I bring my own food/drink?
No, you will not be allowed to bring your own food and drink inside the venue.

Where can I smoke?
Outside the venue. Your wristband will grant you reentry.

Can I bring a backpack?
We advise you not to bring any large bags to the venue. Any bags brought will be searched by Twickenham security.

Is there a cloak room/baggage storage area?
No coat or baggage services will be available on the day. You will be responsible for anything you bring.
